How do I create an event? Events is a feature that lets you organize gatherings, respond to invites and keep up with what your friends are doing.

1. Click Events in the left menu of your News Feed
2. Click Create in the top right
3. Click Create Private Event to choose between a private or public event
4. Fill in the event name, details, location and time
5. Click Create


Types of Facebook Events:-  There are two types of Facebook Events listed below -

(1). Private Facebook Event: Visible only to the people who are invited. You can choose to allow guests to invite their friends. People who aren't invited cannot view the event description, photos, Wall posts and videos. Public Event: Visible to anyone on or off Facebook.

(2). Public Facebook Event: Visible to anyone on or off Facebook.

You'll be taken to your event where you can invite guests, upload photos, share posts and edit event details.
